Regulations for transporting paints and coatings
The main regulations are outlined in ADR (European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road), which covers the transportation conditions for hazardous materials. Other regulatory documents addressing this issue include GOST standards, which specify the rules and timelines for transporting and storing paint products, as well as the types and features of labeling for hazardous cargo.
Packaging, packing and loading
Краски транспортируют как в контейнерах и бочках большого объема, а также в банках и бутылях среднего размера. Пластиковые емкости обязательно упаковываются дополнительно в коробки и пленку. Каждая тара маркируется с указанием производителя, даты производства, класса опасности, номера партии и т.д.
Важный момент: особое внимание уделяется герметичности упаковки. Это связано с тем, что с одной стороны краска портится при воздействии внешних факторов (солнечных лучей, влаги), а с другой – разгерметизация тары может привести к возникновению взрыво- и пожароопасной ситуации, а также нанесению серьезного вреда экологии.
Емкости с краской не выставляются на пол фургона, но размещаются на деревянных паллетах. Если объем емкости составляет 200 л и более, загрузка в фургон допускается только в один ряд – т.е. ставить тары друг на друга запрещено. Емкости меньшим объемом разрешено устанавливать друг на друга. Обязательна фиксация тары с помощью ремней, стяжек и других фиксирующих элементов, так как удары, падения и даже сильные наклоны могут привести к розливу жидкости.
Строго запрещается доставка краски с другими продуктами, в особенности с продуктами питания.
Vehicle Requirements
Грузовой транспорт должен иметь соответствующую грузоподъемность. Необходимо получить действующее свидетельство, разрешающее допуск к транспортировке краски. Кроме того, водитель также обязан пройти соответствующее обучение.
Все автомобили проходят тщательный технический осмотр для выявления любых, даже самых малейших неполадок, способных потенциально привести к нарушению безопасности транспортировки.
Грузовой транспорт любой грузоподъемности, перевозящий краски, оснащается проблесковыми маячками и сигнальными фонарями с защитным кожухом, а также маркируется специальными табличками, на которых указывается порядковый номер и класс опасности.

Mode of transportation
Temperature: предельный допустимый температурный диапазон варьируется от -40 до +40°C. Замерзание краски может привести к снижению ее качественных свойств, а перегрев – к возникновению взрывоопасной ситуации (исключение составляют водоэмульсионные составы). Оптимальным показателем считается +27°C, поэтому для перевозки используется рефрижератор.
Скорость: транспортировка краски осуществляется при соблюдении скоростного режима не более 60 км/час. В условиях сниженной видимости (туман, осадки) скорость снижается. Эта особенность всегда учитывается при расчете сроков.
Влажность: лакокрасочные изделия разрушаются при воздействии влаги, поэтому помимо герметичной упаковки предъявляются строгие требования к уровню влажности в фургоне – он не должен превышать 50-60%.
