The territory of transportation of perishable goods
Perishable goods are transported by road across Russia and internationally. We ship products from CIS countries, including Belarus, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Georgia, as well as from Turkey, Iran, Mongolia, and China. European cargo transportation is also available via transshipment at the Belarus-EU border.

Conditions and requirements for the delivery of perishable goods
International transportation of perishable goods, like domestic delivery, is governed by a set of regulations. These primarily concern sanitary-hygienic standards, packaging requirements, and loading procedures. Equally crucial is preparing all necessary documentation that confirms both the safety and legal compliance of the shipment.
Sanitary and Hygiene Standards
The transportation of perishable goods is regulated by a range of legal acts, including SP 2.3.6.1079-01 and Russian Government Decree No. 272 dated April 15, 2011. These documents outline all sanitary requirements for transporting food and non-food products requiring temperature control.
Packaging and labeling
Perishable goods must be packaged according to the specific product's characteristics and labeled with markings that reflect their special properties and transportation requirements by road.
This may include temperature limits (specifying maximum and minimum allowable values), labeling for airtight packaging, indicators for correct package orientation during loading, and warning signs about protecting the cargo from sunlight and moisture.
Features of loading perishable goods
Maintaining the proper environment is crucial for perishable goods, but correct placement of boxes, crates, and other containers in the truck also significantly impacts their preservation. For instance, fresh vegetables and fruits must be sorted—different varieties may require separate transportation—and then tightly packed in crates to minimize bruising or damage. Fresh and chilled produce should be loaded to allow adequate air circulation between containers, with gaps filled by soft packing materials to prevent shifting. Frozen goods, however, require a different approach: packages must be stacked as tightly as possible to occupy all available space.
Documentation for Meat Transportation
Drivers must present these documents for legal cargo transit:
- CMR waybill—listing driver/vehicle details and full cargo manifest.
- Waybill. Issued by the logistics manager before the trip. Among other details, the waybill includes proof of the driver's medical examination—a mandatory requirement for work authorization.
- Service Agreement. Signed with the client, it documents all transportation terms: route, deadlines, shipment volume, and other specifics.
- Quality and sanitary compliance certificates for the specific type of cargo being transported.
Do not overlook the list of personal documents the driver must carry:
- driver's license of the appropriate category;
- insurance
- power of attorney to operate the vehicle;
- technical inspection ticket
- Medical record book
The list of documents, their compliance with current requirements, and validity dates must be verified in advance, before departing on the route.
Vehicle requirements
Vehicles used for temperature-controlled product transportation must meet specific requirements. These include the truck's interior lining: it must be easy to clean and disinfect, as this treatment is a mandatory preparation step. Before loading, the truck is pre-cooled or pre-heated to minimize temperature fluctuations during cargo loading. LDGo utilizes a specialized fleet for safe and high-quality perishable goods delivery: VOLVO FH and SITRAK CH7-MAX trucks, along with refrigerated semi-trailers.
Temperature Regimes
Each category has its own standards for humidity, temperature, and other parameters. These are maintained using specialized equipment. Since our refrigerated trucks operate within a temperature range of +25°C to -25°C, we successfully deliver a wide variety of goods—from frozen fish to fresh apples.

In theory—yes, it's possible. But then we'd have to cut costs on professional and experienced personnel, equipment maintenance, and overhaul our entire operating system. This would inevitably lead to a decline in service quality. That's why our current pricing is 100% justified.
