How does work with us work?
Cooperation with LDGo is carried out in four stages:
- You leave a request by providing us with all the necessary information about the route and the cargo being transported (cargo type, volume, and requirements).
- Once the data is received, the manager will be able to accurately calculate the price and timing of the upcoming transportation based on the current rates.
- You can pay for the service by bank transfer. For regular customers, there is an option for deferred payment.
- After receiving payment, we start working and ensure that all the agreed conditions are met, including temperature control and deadlines.

LDGo's freight transportation coverage is extensive. We operate throughout Russia and internationally. We deliver cargo from CIS countries: Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Belarus. We also handle transportation from Iran, Turkey, Mongolia, and China. Finally, we ship goods from Europe via transshipment at the EU-Belarus border.
Conditions and requirements for potato transportation
Refrigerated delivery always requires compliance with a number of conditions. First and foremost, strict adherence to sanitary requirements and the use of specialized transport. It is also necessary to prepare a package of documents in advance that confirms the legality of the transportation.
Sanitary and Hygiene Standards
One of the main requirements applies to potato packaging. It must be made of materials that do not affect the quality and preservation of the root vegetables upon contact and ensure proper ventilation. Packaging in crates, pallets, and fabric bags is permitted.
Other standards:
- Transporting different varieties/types of potatoes in the same container is not allowed, regardless of volume in cubic meters.
- Since potatoes require good ventilation, it is recommended to reduce the stacking height of bags and provide ventilation gaps.
- The root vegetables must be reliably protected from prolonged exposure to light. This includes not only sunlight but also artificial lighting, as both contribute to sprouting and greening of the tubers.
- Transporting potatoes with other vegetables and fruits, especially those that emit high levels of ethylene (e.g., apples), is prohibited.
- Transporting potatoes with other products is prohibited, as potatoes have a specific odor and quickly absorb foreign smells.
Finally, air humidity must be maintained at 85-90% with the appropriate temperature regime. Fluctuations in humidity lead to rotting and sprouting.

Documentation for Meat Transportation
Preparing documentation is a crucial stage, as the absence of even one document can lead to delays or complete cancellation of the shipment. The driver must carry the following papers at all times:
- TTN (consignment note). It contains all the details about the vehicle and driver, records the planned route, and lists all the goods being transported.
- Waybill. This document is issued to the driver by the logistics manager immediately before departure. It contains information about the vehicle and driver—specifically, details of the completed medical examination.
- Contract with the client. The contract outlines all transportation details: approved route, delivery deadlines, and regulated driver actions in emergency situations.
The documentation package also includes quality certificates. In addition to the paperwork directly related to the transportation and cargo, the driver must have the following personal documents:
- driver's license
- power of attorney to operate the vehicle;
- technical inspection ticket
- insurance
- Medical record book
Having all the necessary documents guarantees the successful completion of the route and proves the legality of the transportation.
Vehicle requirements
The interior lining of the refrigerated truck must be easy to clean of any contaminants and resistant to regular exposure to disinfectants—since the truck is treated before each new load. We have the necessary fleet with varying capacities up to 22 tons to ensure the safe transportation of fresh potatoes of any variety: VOLVO FH and SITRAK CH7-MAX trucks, along with refrigerated semi-trailers. We transport cargo with a maximum weight of up to 22 tons.
Temperature Regimes
Temperature ranges vary depending on the type of potato being transported. The standard interval is 5-15°C, with recommended conditions of 3-6°C for seed potatoes, 4-8°C for table potatoes, and 10-15°C for early potatoes. Temperatures below or above these ranges will lead to product spoilage.
Thus, at temperatures above 5°C (but especially at 15°C and humidity over 90%), tuber sprouting begins, while below 4°C, the taste of the root vegetable changes.
