The plants we work with
Our in-house fleet, specially equipped for safe transportation, allows us to successfully deliver any fresh-cut flowers:
- roses of all varieties
- tulips
- peonies, chrysanthemums, and asters
- gerberas
- eustoma
- decorative greenery.
A stable temperature regime is also essential for transporting other plants:
- potted indoor flowers
- garden plants, including bulbs
- exotic flowers
- seeds and seedlings
Each variety of flowers, houseplants, and garden plants requires specific transportation conditions to preserve their freshness upon delivery.
Transportation Conditions and Requirements
Successful plant transportation depends on several factors: strict adherence to sanitary transportation standards, proper documentation, technical compliance of the vehicle with required transport conditions, and uninterrupted temperature control throughout the entire route.
Sanitary and Hygiene Standards
The sanitary requirements for the transportation of fresh flowers are generally the same for all types and varieties of plants:
- Equipped vehicles must comply with current cargo transportation standards.
- It is mandatory to sort the plants beforehand to identify any spoiled, damaged, or infected specimens.
- Each flower is packed in a clean and intact package and placed on pallets.
- Some plants require additional conditions for transportation.
The last point implies the use of special packaging and other materials. For example, plants with tubers are transported in bags that provide the necessary level of air exchange, while bulbous plants are covered with soil or sawdust to prevent moisture.

Documentation for Meat Transportation
Having a complete set of documents confirms the legality of cargo transportation and its compliance with SanPiN standards. The primary documents that the driver must have on hand include:
- The bill of lading. It contains information about the vehicle and driver, the established route, and lists all units of products loaded into the truck.
- Waybill. Issued before departure, it contains driver details (including medical examination records), trip duration, and type of transportation (Russia, international shipments).
- A contract for the transportation of flowers and/or plants concluded with the customer.
The driver is the responsible person on the route and must also carry the following documents:
- a driver's license of the appropriate category;
- the car's technical inspection pass
- insurance
- the health record
- power of attorney for driving a vehicle
This list also includes the vehicle passport, which confirms that it is properly equipped for transporting flowers and plants.
Vehicle requirements
Several factors are considered when selecting a vehicle for flower transportation: season, distance to the destination, road conditions, as well as the type of plants being transported, their value, and specific requirements.
In general, any refrigerated truck for flower transport must have an interior lining that is easy to wash and disinfect. The plants are placed in the truck compactly but in a way that prevents them from damaging each other, with buds or branches secured if necessary.
LDGo uses a fleet of vehicles for fast delivery of fresh flowers: SITRAK CH7-MAX and VOLVO FH trucks, as well as refrigerated semi-trailers.
Temperature Regimes
A large portion of flower transportation involves temperate-climate varieties—roses, chrysanthemums, gerberas—with an optimal temperature range of +2 to +7 degrees. Other species require different conditions:
- exotic and tropical plants (such as orchids) – around +15-+18 °C;
- indoor potted plants – from +12 to +14°C;
- bulbous plants – from 13 to 20°C.
When it comes to cut flowers specifically, they require the most comfortable transportation conditions possible. A temperature range of 1 to 8°C, the necessary humidity level, and the absence of fluctuations.
